One of the most popular career choices made by students today is MBA. The competition to get into a prestigious MBA institute is increasingly fierce. But getting an entry into a premium business school to achieve MBA is not so simple. Students need to put in the immense amount of commitment and solid work to clear the entrance exam. The cut throat competition extends to the next round of group discussion and interview. Worldwide, several entry-level examinations are taken by business schools to choose the best of luck throughout the nation.
Entrance examinations to determine the student’s score based on various parameters of quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning ability, general knowledge and language skills. These tests assess the candidate at all levels as round, numeracy skills, speed, precision, mastery of language and basic concepts. Based on entrance exam scores, students are elected to the post-evaluation of group discussions and personal interviews. Group discussions often part of a select group of students, aged between four and twelve. Students receive a particular topic and are asked to contribute to relevant discussions in a fixed time frame. Group discussion focuses on the analysis and evaluation of candidates’ skills of communication. It also helps to control student approach to concurrent issues, their ability to participate in team discussions and if it is proactive or reactive. Group discussions also take a look just at the level of student confidence, judging by the intensity with which manages to convey his point of view.  The final round is called a round of interviews. In this final stage of evaluation, the candidate’s personal profile and skills are thoroughly tested. Other items that occupy a central place in the personal interview are the students’ academic records, work experience (if any), steady performance, references, family history, among other things.
